The Virginia Marine Resources Commission invites public comment on the establishment of amendments to regulations, as proposed below.

In accordance with Section 28.2-209 of the Code of Virginia, a public hearing on the proposed regulation will be held at 12:00 noon, on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at the Virginia Marine Resources Commission, 2600 Washington Avenue, Newport News, Virginia.

I.
Chapter 4 VAC 20-450-10 et seq., �Pertaining to the Taking of Bluefish�
The Commission proposes to amend Chapter 4 VAC 20-450-10 et seq., �Pertaining to the Taking of Bluefish,� to establish the Virginia commercial bluefish quota as 886,040 pounds.
The purpose of this amendment is to comply with updated 2014 federal and interstate management plans for this species.
II. Chapter 4 VAC 20-1090-10 et seq., �Pertaining to Licensing Requirements and License Fees�
The Commission proposes to amend Chapter 4 VAC 20-1090-10 et seq. �Pertaining to Licensing Requirements and License Fees� to update the recreational license fees for the Combined Sportfishing License, the 5-day Combined Sportfishing Trip License, and the Tidal Boat Sport Fishing License.
The purpose of this amendment is to revise the combined recreational license fees, in response to fee increases by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.
