The Virginia Saltwater Review 

The saltwater review has been discontinued.  This was a labor-intensive weekly fishing report that required a minimum of 24 man hours a week for at least six months of the year to produce and could not be sustained at current staffing levels without harming our core fisheries functions.  Fishing reports throughout the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries are available from the private sector and easily found online.  As a result, the saltwater review was determined to be a redundant service created at significant effort by the Virginia Marine Resources Commission and is no longer necessary.
