In accordance with Section 28.2-209 of the Code of Virginia, a public hearing on the proposed regulations will be held no earlier than 9:30 AM, on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at the Virginia Marine Resources Commission, 2600 Washington Avenue, Newport News, Virginia. I. Chapter 4 VAC 20-335-10 et seq., �Authorizes Aquaculture Structures�
The Commission will consider proposed amendments to 4 VAC 20-335-10 et seq., �Authorizes Aquaculture Structures� to create a requirement to obtain either a permit or consent of nearby residential property owners to place aquaculture cages on oyster planting ground leases within the City of Virginia Beach.
