Notice is hereby given that Charles Gregory of Virginia Beach has applied to the Marine Resources Commission to license and locate a pound net in the southwestern portion of Chesapeake Bay, along the shore between Lynnhaven Inlet and Cape Henry. The net is to be located 300 yards from the nearest shoreline, at Latitude 36
Degrees 55 Minutes 17 Seconds N, and Longitude 76 Degrees 04 Minutes 06 Seconds W, and 435 yards upstream and 345 yards downstream of existing adjacent pound nets. The net is proposed to run in an approximately northerly direction and is 1200 feet in length.

Marine Resources Commission to license and locate two pound nets in new locations, in lower Chesapeake Bay, along the shore between Lynnhaven Inlet and Cape Henry.
The first pound net is to be located 501 feet from the shoreline, at Latitude N 36
Degrees 55 Minutes 26.8 Seconds N and Longitude 76 Degrees 03 Minutes 04.6
Seconds W, about 325 yards west and 390 yards east of existing pound net stands. This net is proposed to be 1200 feet in length.
The second pound net is to be located approximately 1600 feet from the shoreline, at Latitude 36
Degrees 55 Minutes 17 Seconds N and Longitude 76 Degrees 04 Minutes 23 Seconds W, offshore and inline with an existing pound net stand. This net is proposed to be 900 feet in length.
September 16, 2008: Notice is hereby given that Ernest L. George of White Stone has applied to the Marine Resources Commission to license and locate a pound net in the Rappahannock River approximately 2 miles west of Windmill Point Light in 17 feet of water at Latitude N 37
